This vintage Fendi bag has been authenticated and comes with a certificate as well. They said it was from 1990, but do not know the model. It belonged to a buyer for Bloomingdale's,and I have never found another one.
The tag says Borsa Nappa Tribale, and this was bought in Italy.
It is comprised of black nappa leather which has been shaped like a puffy crocodile or alligator, super soft and light.
It measures about 15" long,14" tall, and almost 5" deep. The strap drop is 15-17". The strap is knotted for extra design appeal.
The hardware is gold, and it has a logo on the heavy hammered brass zipper pull, as well as under the zipper. And a serial number. Perfect, clean condition, also comes with a Fendi Branded Cloth dust bag,
