Water is poured into the bucket (secretly running into a tray inside the table).  The bucket is then carried towards audience and "tossed" towards them, having changed into confetti.

This is the bucket and table, both very nicely made.
NOTE: The plastic tray inside table is badly warped and should be replaced.
